CHARLES N. MORRISON AGE: 67 MIDDLETOWN
Charles N. Morrison, 67, of Middletown, formerly of Red Bank and Rumson, died Thursday, March 26, 2009. He was born in Tulsa, Okla. He served in the U.S. Navy, was an Oceanographic Research Technician, a founder of the Garden State Numismatic Association, a self-employed business manager, a well-known organizer of local charity events, and retired from Prudential in Holmdel. At the time of his death, Charlie was an active member of the Red Bank and Fair Haven Fire Departments.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary-Lou; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Ilene of Colts Neck; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Deanna of Middletown; a sister, Mary Sue of Oklahoma; a sister, Martha Frances of Missouri; three precious granddaughters, Samantha Kaitlyn, Courtney Julia, and Reagan Rose; and beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, March 29, with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown, officiated by The Rev. Shannan Vance-Ocampo and Mayor Pasquale Menna. A brief interment service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 30 at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
