The Fair Haven Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of 45 year Auxiliary member Ruth Binaco.  There will be no Fire Company services. Ruth A. Sonnichsen Binaco of Fair Haven, aged 88 years, passed away on April 24, 2018 at Bayside Manor Assisted Living in Keansburg, New Jersey. George Edward Chandler Jr., 92, passed away on Jan. 22 at NJ Fireman’s Home in Boonton. He was born May 19, 1923 in Fair Haven, where he lived for most of his life. He graduated from Rumson Fair Haven High School where he participated in track and football. George served our country in the Navy as Petty Officer Electricians Mate during World War II. Thomas A. Vetterl, 93, of Tequesta, FL, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2015. Mr. Vetterl was born in Paterson, NJ. He spent most of his life in Red Bank and Fair Haven, NJ before moving permanently to Florida. Mr. Vetterl was a member of the Church of Nativity, in Fair Haven and St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta.
