Published in the Asbury Park Press Jan. 25, 2019 A soldier from Fair Haven was killed Tuesday evening in an Army training accident in Otero County, New Mexico. Pfc. Jamie R. Riley, 21, died in a crash between two Stryker vehicles at McGregor Range, along with Cpl. Cole Trevor Wixom, 24, of Bloomingdale, Michigan. Both soldiers were assigned to 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, according to the U.S. Army. Daylight Saving Time ends Nov. 5: change clocks, batteries… Daylight Saving Time ends in the U.S. at 2 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 5. The FHFD reminds everyone to turn their clocks back one hour and also to change your batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, as well as other safety items in your home during DST.
