Twenty years ago, Kirstin Felsmann was a toddler being held in the arms of her Dad – ex Chief John W. Felsmann – in front of a fire truck.
Last week Kirstin became the second FHFD woman to graduate from the Fire Academy. Not only did she complete both the Firefighter 1 and 2 classes serving as a squad leader, but she also graduated at the top of her class and was presented the Captain Ronald W. Fitzpatrick award for her “outstanding academic achievement and exemplary performance”.
Most of all, she continues the Felsmann legacy of FHFD service, as a fourth generation volunteer!
Congratulations, Kirstin!!!
