Some computers/laptops will try to open the above PDF in a web browser. Many web browsers will not allow the PDF to be digitally signed. You need to download the PDF and open it up in a PDF reader such as Acrobat Reader (free download). Most PCs have Acrobat Reader already installed.
After you read the Notice, enter your name, select the day’s date and then digitally sign. If this is your first time digitally signing an item, you may have to go through a short setup process. This process is free and just takes a minute. The PDF will then open up a SAVE window so you can keep a copy of the form and acknowledgement.
Once signed and saved, hit the “EMAIL TO FHFD” button. This will open your default email client and attach the PDF to the email pre-addressed to sog@fhfd.org. Simply send the email and you’re good.
If you’d rather print the form, sign it and mail (or drop off) to the station, feel free to do that, too.
