As any Fire Department or EMS volunteer knows, behind every hour on a call, at a drill or at any community event, is a family member, friend and neighbor supporting that volunteer. They are the unsung heroes of any fire company.
Here’s a little human interest story about two of FHFD’s finest: ex Chief, ex Captain, Life Member Vinny Feeny and his wife Linda – she’s an honorary member and long time Fireman’s Fair volunteer (the force behind the seafood kitchen). They grew up in Fair Haven, went to high school together, married, and continue to serve in countless ways.
