Thomas A. Vetterl, 93, of Tequesta, FL, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2015. Mr. Vetterl was born in Paterson, NJ. He spent most of his life in Red Bank and Fair Haven, NJ before moving permanently to Florida. Mr. Vetterl was a member of the Church of Nativity, in Fair Haven and St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta. Brenda R. Cassanese AGE: 92 • Fair Haven Brenda R. Cassanese, 92, of Fair Haven, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at Riverview Hospital in Red Bank. She was the daughter of the late M. Floyd and Nellie Smith and a fourth generation resident of Fair Haven. Robert J. Henne, 23, of Fair Haven passed away Monday, March 23rd, 2015. He was civically minded from a very early age and was always helping others. Robert was a member of the Monmouth County 200 Club recognized for saving a man’s life at a young age and played Football and ran Track at R.F.H. H.S. At the age of 15 he knew he wanted to be a police officer, eventually earning a degree in Criminal Justice and Government Administration. [click for more]

A lifelong resident of Fair Haven, he served his country proudly during WWII in the U.S. Navy, South Pacific. Chum was a 65 year member of the Fair Haven Fire Dept.
