The Fire Company regrets to announce the passing of 1991 Fire Chief, Carl Preston, Jr., a 41 year member. Carl was also the “Stockroom” chairman for many years at the Firemen’s Fair, making sure all game booths ran smoothly. Carl and his wife Cindy were here just a few weeks ago, coming up from Florida to volunteer once again at the Fair and connect with fire department friends.
