Fair Haven First Aid Squad Annual Fund Drive

The First Aid Squad’s annual fund drive is underway! Thank you to the FH residents and businesses who have already sent in donations! Since 1930, FHFAS has provided dedicated volunteer EMS support to our community – and we are profoundly grateful for these donations which help us purchase or update medical supplies and ambulance equipment, stay in compliance with State standards and off-set the cost of keeping members trained. Halloween Safety Tips

Halloween is a fun, and spooky, time of year for kids. Make trick-or-treating safe for your little monsters with a few easy safety tips. When choosing a costume, stay away from long trailing fabric. If your child is wearing a mask, make sure the eye holes are large enough so he or she can see out. Provide children with flashlights to carry for lighting or glow sticks as part of their costume. STOP THE BLEED® is one of our nation’s largest public health campaigns designed to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
