The Fair Haven Fire Company (Monmouth County Fire Station 13-1) is an all volunteer organization that has a proud history of providing emergency services for the Borough of Fair Haven and surrounding communities. The Fire Company has grown over the years to include the Fire Department, First Aid Squad, Fire Police Unit, Water Rescue Team and Auxiliary that provide all aspects of emergency services.
We are located in central Monmouth County, New Jersey between the picturesque Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers. Our members gladly give many hours of their time every year, responding to emergencies, undergoing training and maintaining equipment, all at no cost to Fair Haven residents.
We also operate New Jersey’s largest Firemen’s Fair each year, bringing joy to kids of all ages while raising funds for our ongoing activities.

The Fair Haven Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 is organized into five specialized units, all operating under one command structure. First and foremost of these organizations is the Fire Department itself, which responds to fires and other emergencies in Fair Haven. The Department and First Aid Squad also have mutual aid agreements with all of the surrounding boroughs, by which additional equipment and manpower can be provided for or accepted from other nearby fire and first aid units.
