On 08/19/07 JAMES W. CONNOR, 86, of MIDDLETOWN, previously of Fair Haven, died Friday, Aug. 17, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Mr. Connor served his country honorably as a member of the US Navy during WWII on the carrier USS Swannee serving in the Pacific and Mediterranean Theatres. He retired from Ft. CATHERINE “MARGIE” PRYOR, 72, of LONG BRANCH, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Chapin Hill, Red Bank. Margie was born in Red Bank and had previously lived in Fair Haven before moving to Long Branch 24 years ago. Margie worked for MOCEANS of Long Branch, which is an advocacy group for the disabled.
