While the location of Fair Haven between the picturesque Navesink and Shrewsbury Rivers provides beauty and recreation for its citizens, if also provides the makings of difficult emergency situations, including nautical emergency medical incidents, drownings, ice rescues and, unfortunately, recovery of bodies.
