Cornelius J. “Niel” Briody

CORNELIUS J. “NIEL” BRIODY, 86, of TINTON FALLS, died Friday, April 4, at Sea Brook Village, Tinton Falls. He was a co-owner of Briody’s Restaurant’s in Rumson and Jersey City for 37 years with his brother, Joseph Briody Sr., retiring in 1985. MARY P. SCALZO, 77, of FAIR HAVEN, passed away Tuesday, March 13, at Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation at Red Bank. Mary was born in Fair Haven and resided all of her life in the Fair Haven and Rumson area. She was retired from the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, where she had been employed in food services for many years. Thomas C. Coakley

THOMAS C. COAKLEY, 75, of FAIR HAVEN, passed away Thursday, March 6 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank surrounded by his family. Thomas was a resident of Fair Haven for forty-two years. During the Korean Conflict, Thomas served his country with the US Army from 1952 to 1954.
