Red Bank – Angelo DePonti, 89, of Red Bank passed away on December 29, 2018. He was born in Red Bank to the late James and Anna (Cecero) DePonte. Angelo proudly served in the United States Marines during World War II and the Korean War. He was a 66 year life member and ex captain of Union Hose Company of Red Bank Fire Department and a 29 year member of the Fair Haven Fire Company. The Fair Haven Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of 30 year member, three time Fire Police  President, Fire Police Captain (1992) and Life Member, Christian Bertell.  A Memorial Gathering will take place at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, from 9:30 to 11:30 am on Saturday December 22nd with a Fire Company memorial service at 11:00 AM.  Trucks leave firehouse at 10:45 am.
